I'm really hoping to see a lot of CAT's at NYATA's licensure event at Pratt on October 23rd. It's an opportunity to get current and future licensure questions answered by David Hamilton of the State office of the Professions. It will also be an opportunity to come together and discuss the strong limitations Creative Art Therapy services have when attempting to be covered by insurance companies. This is a huge opportunity to come together as an industry to address the gigantic elephant in the room. Current students will benefit by this event as well by getting their licensure questions answered on the spot and get a thorough understanding of what it takes to operate a private practice as an LCAT. #arttherapy #arttherapist #lcatnews
