I'm super excited to be taking part in this fun event that the New York Art Therapy Association is hosting on August 28th. The event will be taking place at Kennedy Plaza in Long Beach NY from 10am-5pm and all proceeds go towards Art Therapy Services for Children’s Mental Health Children will be provided with art therapy services in the form of group therapy.
The New York Art Therapy Association brings families, neighbors, and professionals together for a fun-filled day of chalk art creations. Allow your child to create masterpieces in Kennedy Plaza.
Art Therapy uses art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem.
